Scott Canfield
Scott has more than twenty year’s experience in real estate investment and development. He has extensive experience in commercial real estate appraisal and investment analysis. He has developed and/or renovated many commercial properties for a variety of tenants, predominately office and medical-related tenants. Tenants have included long-term tenancies with Portland-based hospitals Mercy Hospital, Maine Medical Center and Brighton Medical Center, along with Maine’s premier healthcare provider InterMed. He is point on the acquisition and financing for Nest-Eggs’ properties, and in identifying and leasing to high-quality commercial tenants. He has also developed environmentally-friendly Oceanside and Lakeside waterfront land developments in Downast Maine, overlaid with conservation easements monitored by the Blue Hill Heritage Trust. Scott has a BA in English Literature, an MBA, and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Prior to founding Nest-Eggs, LLC, Scott worked at UNUMProvident in Strategic Marketing, at Aetna as a Surety Construction-Bond Consultant, and at Eastern Appraisal as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser. Scott and his wife Be Nho, and their two sons Ean and Jesse, feel very fortunate to live in Yarmouth, Maine, and to be able to enjoy all the Wonders that Maine has to offer.
Leigh Canfield
Leigh has more than twenty years experience in building and managing the Nest-Eggs’ property portfolio, and servicing the needs of their tenant-customers. During this time, he had also worked for UNUMProvident in Portland, Maine in Product and Market Development, Corporate Development, Diversified Distribution, and International. Leigh is point on servicing Nest-Eggs’ tenant-customers, managing the financial components of the business, maintenance of the properties, and vendor relationships. Leigh earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, in Glendale, Arizona. Leigh loves Maine and resides in Yarmouth with his wife, Leslie, and their three children Brendan, Erik and Anushka. In addition to playing tennis, hockey, skiing, island hopping, kayaking, and canoeing - and going to the dump - one little hobby includes building websites, like this one, just for fun and on the side....
